We Organic's Vege Loaf With Gravy for Winter

We Organic's Vege Loaf with Gravy

Lentils
Barley
Spices
Tahini
Miso

Take equal parts barley and lentils and cook until tender.  (You can put in more lentils if you want, and it will still work...if you like lentils more than barley.)  Add the same spices you might use for meatloaf...ie. onion, garlic, oregano, pepper, salt, chili peppers, marjoram. ..whatever your family recipe is for meatloaf, add those spices. Take the cooked barley and lentil mixture and push it into a loaf pan until solid.

This mixture can be refrigerated until you are ready to use it.
Cut into slices and fry to heat, then place on a plate.

For the gravy, mix 1 part miso, and 3-4 parts more tahini, add water to thin to a gravy. Pour over your vege loaf...Yumm!
